My friend whom I met during Ruth's Stolperstein installation had placed a rose on Ruth's stone on June 1, 2024. This was in memory of Ruth on Children's Day in Germany. The portion of Germany that once was known as East Germany continues to celebrate Children's Day on June 1. I am so grateful that Ruth is remembered. I hope to get back to visit her stone again one day.
